Ergonomic emergency stair evacuation chair
The Evac+Chair® 400H is designed for downward stairway evacuation with a single attendant and supports passengers up to 440 lb (200 kg). Building on the US-designed 300H, the 400H was developed with input from occupational therapists to improve ergonomics and accommodate passenger needs. It features wider Evac+Track® treads with adjustable tension, passenger armrests, a footrest and a four-point safety harness.
Dual-position seating
Flat seat: Zipped side panels create a level seat with an over-thigh quick-release passenger restraint.
Hammock seat: Unzip the side panels and secure them underneath, retaining use of the passenger restraint. The adjustable seat lets passengers choose their preferred position.
