Alternating Pressure Therapy

Pro-Care Optima Alternating Pressure Therapy system provides stability and comfort with three distinct zones. It fits your clients’ contours offering offloading/redirecting pressure with distinct zones: torso, lower legs, and a static head pillow. The surface features a six cell-in-cell bladder for the sacrum area to provide excellent support when clients are sitting up. This prevents bottoming out, and the rectangular cells offer comfortable pressure relief. With a simple control knob located on the side of the five cylinders at the foot section, you can activate the zero pressure heel protection that allows the heels to be offloaded by deflating up to two bladders in the lower leg zone of the surface. 

The auto-adjust feature provides optimal pressure based on the client’s changing weight distribution. It also auto-inflates and adjusts pressure in the Fowler position when the head section is raised over 30 degrees to prevent bottoming out. Pro-Care Optima has the battery backup built-in which gives peace of mind and added protection. It can provide non-stop therapy for six hours during transport or in case of power failure.
