Invacare Elite TR Back
The Invacare Matrx Elite TR Back is specially designed for use in manual or power tilt-only or tilt/recline applications. It includes an extra layer of SuperSoft HR foam for improved immersion and comfort, and incorporates full support across the shoulder area. Bariatric Elite TR Back available with 500 lb. capacity.
Features and Functional Benefits
Cover – Oversized cover featuring SuperSoft HR foam layered over firm HR foam for comfort and protection. Attractive Meshtex cover is water-resistant and breathable.
Hardware – “Easy Set” hardware installs and adjusts in minutes – all adjustments can be made with user seated in the wheelchair. Other hardware styles may be substituted for unique mounting applications; Split, Fixed Space Saver, Extended Range, as well as many versions specific to power wheelchair applications including ESR Mount.
Back Shell – Stylish, durable aluminum shell incudes contoured support in shoulder area, slotted for lateral support hardware attachment.
Adjustable Lumbo-Sacral Support – Included.
Headrest Adapter – Required for easy, durable and safe mounting of headrest hardware and to provide offset for clearance of foam overlap.
Positioning Options
Lateral Supports – Full range of fixed, offset and swing-away laterals available for order separately.
Fixed – 2.5" of vertical adjustment on back pan. Mounts inside back shell without interfering with depth/angle adjustment. Available in standard 5" H x 7.5" L and pediatric 3" H x 5.5" L sizes.
Offset Fixed – Provides an additional 3" of vertical position (higher or lower) relative to mounting slots. Available 5" H x 7.5" L.
Swing-Away – 2.5" of vertical adjustment on back pan. Mounts inside back shell without interfering with depth/angle adjustment. Easy push-button release, four pad sizes (see below).
Offset Swing-Away – Provides an additional 3" of vertical position (higher or lower). Mounts inside back shell without interfering with depth/angle adjustment. Easy push-button release, four pad sizes (see below).
